Booking.com and Airbnb in one calendar: iCal sync
A double booking is the most expensive mistake in short-term rental. Two-way iCal sync keeps every channel calendar in step.

The problem is timing
Channels know nothing about each other. A booking that arrives from Airbnb does not close the Booking.com calendar unless something connects them.
Two directions
In: you import the channel's iCal URL and the system creates blocked bookings that hold those dates.
Out: you give the channels our public feed at /api/public/ical/:token.ics, which they poll on their own schedule.
Online check-in
The guest gets a link at /checkin/:token and fills in their details before arrival. Reception becomes handing over a key rather than paperwork.
One portfolio, two business models
Long-term contracts and short stays live in the same application. The same unit can be a holiday let in summer and a long-term rental in winter. The history stays in one place.
