The three calls a tenant portal prevents

When tenants can see their own invoices and submit readings, most of the daily communication noise disappears.

The three calls that repeat

"Has my invoice been paid?", "Where do I send the reading?" and "The tap is leaking". Those three make up most of a manager's calls. All three can be solved without a phone.

What the tenant sees in the portal

  • their contracts and rental units
  • invoices with payment status
  • documents that have been shared with them
  • a form for submitting readings

One important detail: a tenant does not see the account's documents, only the ones you shared. Access is checked by the backend.

A maintenance request with its conversation

A request carries a category and a priority, and a conversation hangs off it. All communication stays with the record, even when the manager changes.

Kanban gives the overview

Requests move across the board: New → In progress → Waiting → Done. If a job needs a contractor you assign a provider, and they see it in their own portal.
